AUB builds new water tank

Crom Construction's work is progressing at the site of a new Athens Utilities Board water tower. The tower is located off Highway 30 between Athens and Etowah and will replace an outdated tower currently used by AUB.

The Athens Utilities Board is about to finish building a 2 million gallon water tower and should bring it online in January.
