Wilma B. Brown

Wilma B. Brown, 81, of Etowah, died Monday evening, Nov. 17, 2008, at McMinn Memorial Nursing Home in Etowah.

A native of Bradley County, and a resident of McMinn County for most of her life, she was a daughter of the late Carl and Tennie Shoemaker Baker. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Anna Belle Daugherty, Edith Phillips and Marie Burnett; and one brother, Jim Baker.

Survivors include one sister, Blanche Moats of Ohio; five nieces and spouses, Gail and Leonard Torbett of Birchwood, Joan and Wayne Jones of Kingsport, Pat Phillips of Oxford, N.C., Cindy Parker of Sanford, Fla., and Joyce Kissinger of Ohio; three nephews and spouses, Posie and Janet Barker of Colorado Springs, Colo., Neil and Barbara Moats of Tampa, Fla., and Dale Moats of Florida; and special friend, Virginia Strickland of Etowah.

There will be no services held.
