Ben \"Bonzo\" Martin, 50, of Etowah, died Wednesday morning, Nov. 19, 2008, at his residence.

A son of the late Pete Harl Martin and Margaret Frances Crisp, he was a native of Englewood and a resident of McMinn County all of his life. He was a self-employed painter, and was preceded in death by one brother, Kenny Martin.

Survivors include his wife, Marla Goodman Martin of Etowah; two daughters, Amber Lynch and Kristi Moree, both of Englewood; one son, Jeremiah Hamilton of Tellico Plains; three stepbrothers, Johnny Crisp, Jimmy Crisp and Tony Crisp; and four grandchildren, Taylor Jeremiah Hamilton, Gavin Lynch, Ella Katherine Moree and Hadley Jane Moree.

A private service will be held at a later date.
