Louise J. Pickard, 88, of Cleveland, TN, died Saturday, June 20, 2009, at a local nursing home.

She was a bank teller at Merchants Bank, and was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Pickard; her parents, S.B. and Amanda Grant Johnson; two brothers, Billy Johnson and Cecil Johnson; and one sister, Viola Jones.

Survivors include one son, John David Pickard Sr. of Chattanooga; two grandchildren, John David Pickard Jr. and Jackie Barnes; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Grissom Funeral Home with the Rev. David Fasig officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. A Trinity Dove Release Ceremony will conclude services.

Pallbearers will be John David Pickard Jr., Guy Johnson, Ray Johnson, Lee Johnson, Wayne French and Charlie Brewer. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy G. Johnson, Michael Johnson and Timothy Johnson. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
