Margaret Ann Haley Stansberry

Margaret Ann Haley Stansberry, 80, of Athens, died Tuesday, June 23, 2009, at her home.

A native of Knoxville, and a resident of Athens for the past 32 years, she was a daughter of the late Jonas and Ila Whitlock Haley. She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Lee Arthur Stansberry, on April 25, 2007; and one son, James Stansberry. She was a member of Beulah\'s Chapel.

Survivors include three daughters, Janella Robison and Suzette Johnson, both of Athens, and Sandra Elliott of Knoxville; one son, Steve Stansberry of Athens; one sister, Mildred Hobert of Knoxville; 16 grandchildren, Shawn Robison, Kim Bowers, Lisa Malone, Jamie Ericksen, Brian Stansberry, Lee Stansberry, Angie Stansberry, Jason Forsyth, Kelsey Johnson, Justin Johnson, Jessica Antonio, Patrick Stansberry, Sonia Pressley, Chris Jenkins, Brad Jones and Kristi Watson; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Thursday at Beulah\'s Chapel with Dr. Bill Dawson officiating. Burial will be 10 a.m. Friday in Beulah\'s Chapel Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be grandsons.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Thursday at the church.
