Thomas Earl Cole

Thomas \"Tom\" Earl Cole, 81, of Ten Mile, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 23, 2009, at his residence.

He was a member of Salem Baptist Church in Knoxville at Halls, and was preceded in death by his parents, Smith and Eula Hartman Cole; one son, Michael T. Cole; and two brothers, Gene and Benny Cole.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Carolyn Kyker Cole of Ten Mile; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Scott Cole of Madisonville, and Gary and Juanota Cole of Ten Mile; one sister, Dorothy Cole of Niota; two grandchildren, Ashley and Zack Cole; and one great-grandson, Aiden Gage Randolph.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Fosters Cemetery in Niota with Ben Runyan officiating.

Pallbearers will be Jack and Ben Runyan, Mark Irwin, Allen Randolph, Jason Hickman and Timmy Colyer.

Bowers Funeral Home of Decatur is in charge of arrangements.
