Michael A. \"Mike\" Hewitt, 42, of Athens, and formerly of Kokomo, Ind., died Wednesday, June 24, 2009.

He was born to his beloved mother, Sharon Hewitt Davis of Tennessee, who survives. He attended Kokomo High School. He was employed by Sam Stephens with Creed & Howard Moving Company. He had a beautiful heart, giving when he had nothing. He was preceded in death by one sister, Laurie Davis.

He will be sadly missed by his mother; two sons, Michael Thomas Collingsworth of Kokomo, Ind., and Anthony Hewitt of Maine; one daughter, Chelsea Charlene Hewitt of Kokomo, Ind.; one brother, Doug Davis of Crossville; one nephew, Jesse Davis of Crossville; many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles; and many beloved friends.

Among his many gifts, he was an extremely talented artist.

The body was cremated and his remains will be scattered with his sister\'s in the beautiful hills of Tennessee.
