Margaret Diane Lankford, 52, of Madisonville, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 30, 2009, at Blount Memorial Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jason and Belvia Gossett; and one brother, Hershel Gossett.

Survivors include two daughters, Michelle Bright and fiancé, Omar Vazquez, both of Lenoir City, and Shannon Spain; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Tracy and Pam Lankford and Jeff Lankford, all of Athens; one sister, Sue Couey of Athens; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronnie and Elvia Gossett of Sweetwater, and Ricky and Jean Gossett of Carlington, Ga.; and special friends, Wilma Carver and Angel Anderson, both of Madisonville.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Biereley-Hale Funeral Home with the Rev. Chris Gee officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
