Ella Faye Swafford Key died Sunday, June 17, 2012, at SkyRidge Medical Center in Cleveland.
A native of McMinn County and a resident of Cleveland for most of her life, she was a daughter of the late Arnold Robert and Ruby Chambers Swafford. She was a member of Spring Creek United Methodist Church, where she served as treasurer. She retired from Bowater Southern Paper Corporation after 37 years of service in the Office Services Department. She was an avid U.T. and Atlanta Braves fan.
Survivors include one daughter, Karen Key Agee of Amelia Island, Fla.; and one brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Betty Swafford of Athens.
Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Burlingham and the Rev. Mary Parsons officiating. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Lower Spring Creek Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
