Michael Dale Stratton, 36, of Englewood, died Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012, at the family residence.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jackie Dale Stratton.
Survivors include his loving wife, Jeanie Stratton; his children, Chris, Ashley and Brittany Stratton; his mother, Nancy Stratton; two sisters, Jackie Nunley of Riceville, and Joyce Burnette and her husband, Jeff, of Etowah; his father-in-law, Jimmy Culver of Englewood; his mother-in-law, Sharon Culver; one sister-in-law, Belinda Sinclair of Chattanooga; and several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Rev. Tony Denton officiating. Burial will follow in Unicoi Cemetery of Tellico Plains with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to aid the family with funeral costs.
