Lauren Maria Kitchen, 18, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012.
Born Aug. 25, 1994, she was a graduate of Sequoyah High School and was a freshman at the Art Institute of Nashville. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Michael Kitchen; her grandmother, Maria Diana Cramer; her grandfather, William E. Cramer; and one cousin, Samantha Taylor.
Your life was a blessing,
Your memory a treasure;
You are loved beyond words,
And missed beyond measure.
Survivors include her mother, Maria McConkey, and stepfather, Michael McConkey, of Madisonville; one brother, William Kitchen, of Madisonville; her grandparents, Gina and Tommy Kitchen of Norfolk, Va.; aunts and spouses, Kathy and Kevin Brunick of Virginia Beach, Va., Karen Taylor of Florida, Maria and Gary Bracken of Ireland; and one uncle, William Cramer of Ponte Vedre Beach, Fla; and many cousins and extended family members.
A celebration of Lauren\'s life will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the home of her parents, located at 115 Old Athens Road in Madisonville.
What the caterpillar perceives as the end, to the butterfly is just the beginning.
