Ronnie Lynn Derrick, 47, of Greeneville, and formerly of Englewood, died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012, in Greeneville.

A native of Englewood, he was a son of the late Curtis and Thelma Sue Buckner Derrick. He was preceded in death by one brother, Harold Curtis Derrick of Englewood; and two sisters, Helen Ann and Debbie Sue Derrick, both of Englewood.

Survivors include one brother, Olen Darrell Derrick of Englewood; one niece, Susan J. Derrick of Englewood; one nephew, Olan C. Derrick of Athens; one sister-in-law, Freda Derrick of Englewood; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and special friends from the Greeneville Development Center.

Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Wednesday in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with the Rev. Doyle Lloyd officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home and will proceed to Mars Hill Cemetery for the 11 a.m. burial.

Pallbearers will be Danny Ray Watson, Olan Derrick, Don Harrill, Jeremy Cook and Avery Buckner.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
