Mary Lou Carroll Brown

Mary Lou Carroll Brown, 55, of Niota, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville.
She was a member of A Servants Heart Fellowship in Athens, a devoted wife and mother, and a lifelong companion. She was preceded in death by her father, Marvin Lester Carroll; and two brothers, James Walter Carroll and David Carroll.
Survivors include her husband, William Brown of Niota; one daughter and son-in-law, April and Ben Gray of Murfreesboro; her mother, Christine Carroll of Madisonville; two sisters, Lea Fox of Maryville and Barbara Gray of Madisonville; three brothers, Billy Carroll, Tommy Carroll and Jerry Carroll, all of Madisonville; and several nieces and nephews and many friends.
Funeral services will be 3:30 p.m. Saturday in the Biereley-Hale Chapel with Brother Bobby Sparks, Brother Phillip Carroll and Pastor Jeff Scott officiating. Burial will follow in Chestua Methodist Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Biereley-Hale Funeral Home of Madisonville is in charge of arrangements.
