Juanita Quinn Sluder, 79, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012, at Sweetwater Nursing Center.
She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Decatur, and was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Margaret James Quinn; and one brother, Bobby Quinn.
Survivors include her loving husband of 58 years, the Rev. Winfred Sluder of Ten Mile; three sisters, Margie Skidmore of Brewton, Ala., Mary Jones of Dalton, Ga., and Polly of Cohutta, Ga.; one granddaughter, Sarah Guffee; and a host of good Christian Friends.
Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Wednesday at Bowers Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Couch officiating. Burial will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Murray Memorial Gardens, GI Maddox Parkway, in Chatsworth, Ga.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
