Roselle Myers Wilson, 95, of Athens passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, at Athens Regional Medical Center.
A native of McMinn County, former resident of New York City and resident of Athens since the late 1990s, she was a daughter of the late Rev. C.H. and Rosa Williamson Williams, and was preceded in death by three sisters, Melba Hyacinth Wilson and twin sisters Florian Teressa Wilson and Loleta Manetta Wilson; and four brothers, Roscoe Wilson, Cottrelle Wilson, Constance Glosking Wilson and Armour Wilson.
She was a member of First United Presbyterian Church, a graduate of Knoxville College and former teacher at J. L. Cook School. She was a former employee of Broadcast Music, Inc. of New York.
Survivors include caregivers and extended family, Brenda Curry, Breanna Curry, Teja Curry, Tabitha Smith, Wynaka Arnwine, Paula Strickland, Zelma McClure, Makiyah Strickland, Malia Strickland, David Lewis and P.J. Hall.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at First United Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Wayne Williams and Rev. Sandy Winter officiating. Burial will follow in Hammonds Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Cory Garrett, Davis Lewis, P.J. Hall, Randall Johnson, Craig Johnson and Clifford King.
The family will receive friends from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday prior to the service at the church.
