Christopher K. Rucker, 55, formerly of Riceville, passed away on Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, in Shelbyville, Ind.
He was employed with P.J.C. Trucking Company and served in the U.S. National Guard for more than 20 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert King and Ada King, and Pearline and David Rucker; one sister, Deborah Mack; and two brothers, Tracy King and Chad King.
Survivors include his twin sister and her husband, Christine and Michael Watson of Riceville; six other sisters and one brother-in-law, Audrey and Marvin Conner of Cleveland, Beverly Ward of Chattanooga, Dardrekia King of Chattanooga, Charity King of Bellflower, Calif., and Victoria King and Wynette King, both of Long Beach, Calif.; four brothers and one sister-in-law, Herbert and Bev King and Craig King, all of Cleveland, Todd King of Oakland, Calif., and Mark King of Long Beach, Calif.; a special niece, Patricia McCleary; his fianc�©e, Diane Mazzel; and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Charleston Cumberland Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Billy Bond officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Creek Cemetery in Riceville.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
