Juanita Hester Holder, 66, of Englewood, passed away on Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, at her residence.
A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, she was a daughter of the late Leonard and Ida Mae Jack Hester, and was preceded in death by a son, Venson Oliver Sr.; a granddaughter, Latesha Rochelle Roach; a great-granddaughter, Emerald Smith; and two brothers, Virgil and Clarence Hester. She was a former employee of Etowah Manufacturing and was a member of Victory Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Rosetta Kennedy of Englewood and Anjannet Meadows of Nashville; one son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Mary Oliver of Chattanooga; 11 grandchildren, Venson Oliver Jr., Vanessa Hyer, Ella Tabatha Oliver, Christine Fairbanks, Debbie Kennedy, D.J. Kennedy, Billie Jean Fairbanks, Michael Oliver, Billy Oliver II, Juanita Smith and Dia Roach; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Ollie Mae and Homer Frisbie of Niota and Dale and Terry White of Athens; five brothers and one sister-in-law, Freddy and Parkie Hester of Athens, Billy Hester of Athens, Larry \"Bug\" Hester of Englewood, Jones Albert Hester of Riceville and Willard \"Rooster\" Chrisman of Athens; and her beloved companion, Donnie Nunley of Englewood.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Ziegler Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Stephens and the Rev. Keith Wilcox officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Billy Oliver, Cody Sherlin, Lenny Underwood, Lester Duvall, Michael Olive and Randy Hester.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
