Mikey Ray Weir, 50, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at the family residence.
He was of the Baptist faith and was formerly employed with Foamworks and Magic Chef for more than 20 years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Ann Weir; sister, Patricia Ann Weir; half-brother, Ricky Weir; and former wife, Anita Crumley Weir.
Survivors include his father, Arvil Weir of Cleveland; son, Dustan Weir of Cleveland; sister and brother-in-law, Belinda and Tom Grey of McDonald; and half-sister, Donna Jean Hooper of Cleveland.
A memorial service will be 6 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Rev. Frank Nolan officiating.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association, 519 E. 4th St., Chattanooga, TN 37403.
