Jason Dennis, 30, of Niota, died on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville.
A lifelong resident of McMinn County, he was the son of the late Charles Edward Dennis. He was associated with Heil Trailer International. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Jeannie Rutherford and Hoyl and Edna Dennis.
Survivors include his mother, Mae Dennis of Niota; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Lorie Foster of Florida and Amy and Jamie Crabtree of Englewood; and a special nephew, Noah Crabtree.
Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Lewis officiating. Burial will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Clearwater Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be Mark Riggs, Dustin Hayes, Jacob Million, Allen Walden, Spencer Knox and Matthew Arden. Honorary pallbearers will be Clint Swafford and Ross Ingram.
