Janet Elaine Carver, 61, of Madisonville and formerly of Englewood, passed away on Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at Sweetwater Hospital.

A daughter of the late James and Doris Overbay, she was a member of Notchey Creek Baptist Church and a longtime employee of Woods Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Leah Carver of Englewood and Lisa and Ted Calton of Knoxville; one son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Amanda Carver of Englewood; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Randy Overbay of Lenoir City, Johnny and Renee Overbay of Dayton, Daryl and Rhonda Overbay of New Mexico and Joel and Taylor Overbay of Knoxville; one sister and brother-in-law, Beth and Matt Trumbull of Knoxville; six grandchildren, Elaine Watson, Lauren Watson, Bryce and Cameron Calton, and Caleb and Bryleigh Carver; special friends, Fran and Eddie McConkey of Madisonville; her children\'s father, Charles Carver of Englewood; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Wednesday in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with the Rev. Allen Watson officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service.

Family and friends will assemble at Wilson Station Cemetery on Thursday for the 11 a.m. committal service.
