Celia Olivia Hacker Coleman, 92, of Athens, died Friday morning, Feb. 22, 2013, at her residence.
A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, she was a daughter of the late Hamilton \"Ham\" and Mary Ellen Hightower Hacker, and was preceded in death by her husband, Fred E. Coleman; one son, Freddie Harrison Coleman, on Dec. 4, 2012; seven brothers and one sister.
She was a former employee of Ridge Textiles and was retired from Burlington Woolen Mills in Cleveland. She was a member of Woodward Avenue Church of God.
Survivors include one daughter, Jane King of Athens; one son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and JoAnna Coleman of Athens; two granddaughters, RoseAnna Coleman of Athens, and Sherry Clendenen and her husband, Edwin, of Ringgold, Ga.; three grandsons, Donnie Coleman of Athens, Ronnie Lance Coleman and his wife, Tammy, of Ooltewah, and Ray Anthony King and his wife, Lori, of Duluth, Ga.; and four great-grandchildren, Trey Clendenen, Cassy Clendenen, Savannah King and Brooke King.
Graveside services were 2 p.m. Sunday at McMinn Memory Gardens with the Rev. Wayne Fritts officiating.
Grandsons served as pallbearers.
The family received friends from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Ziegler Funeral Home.
