Hazel E. Davis, 84, of Etowah, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2013, at her residence.
A daughter of the late Clarence and Beulah Davis, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Davis; son, C.L. Davis; brothers, Jim Davis, Harlen Davis and Harvey Davis; and sisters, Betty Sue Crisp and Ella May Cole. A member of Cane Creek Baptist Church, she enjoyed gardening and canning.
Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, David Ray Davis of Riceville and William \"Billy\" and Sally Davis of Etowah; grandchildren, Chris and Lindsey Davis of Chattanooga, Jaryn Davis of Etowah, David Lee and Melissa Davis of Cleveland, Michael and Crystal Davis of Riceville, Nathan Davis of Riceville, Keshia and Mark Lankford of Athens, Janice and Chris Seiber of Oak Ridge, Charlene and Brad Martin of Englewood, MaryElan and Stephen Morrow of Athens, Kevin Harris of Madisonville, and Lori and Rick Rock of Etowah; great-grandchildren, Zack and Alex Davis, Camryn Davis, Hailey Lankford, Bridgett Raby, Aiden, Josh, Christoper and Madison Seiber, Bradley Jr., Austin, Madison and Gauge Martin, Austen Davis, Macey McMahan, Garrett Harris, Jordan and Cody Rock, Cameron Ashton Davis and Braelyn Davis; one great-great-grandchild, Liliana Barton; brother and sister-in-law, Clarance Jr. and Barbara Davis of Madisonville; and one daughter-in-law and spouse, Mary Davis Harris and Ardell of Etowah.
Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Saturday in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Hatcher and Pastor Chris Taylor officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, prior to the service.
Family and friends will assemble at 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home and proceed to Jones Chapel Cemetery for the 2 p.m. committal service.
Grandsons and great-grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
