Alma Prichard Carroll Webb, 91, of Athens, died Friday morning, March 15, 2013, at NHC Health Care of Athens.



A lifelong resident of McMinn County, she was a daughter of the late George and Nora Perkinson Prichard, and was also preceded in death by her first husband, Gus Carroll; her second husband, Jay Webb; one sister, Marie P. Hickman; and one brother, Bill Prichard.



She was a member of First Baptist Church of Athens. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Preceptor Chapter and a charter member of the Athens Luncheon Pilot Club. She was a loyal follower and supporter of all the University of Tennessee at Knoxville athletics, especially the Lady Vols.



Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Donzella and Lanny Shell of Athens, and Beverly and Kenneth Lattimore of Knoxville; one stepdaughter and her husband, Geeldah and Bill Vicars of Athens; one stepson and his wife, Mickey and Brenda Webb of Athens; one granddaughter, Denise Byers and her husband, Charlie, of Athens; three grandsons, Brian Shell and his wife, Becky, of Athens, Scott Lattimore of Nashville, and Phil Lattimore of Knoxville; two step-granddaughters, Kristi Phillips of Cleveland, and Dori Paschall and her husband, Paul, of Chattanooga; three step-grandsons, Jayson Vicars and his wife, Traci, of Athens, Tom Vicars and his wife, Vicki, of Cleveland, and Travis Webb and his wife, Kim, of Englewood; and 12 great-grandchildren.



Funeral services were 2 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Smith Funeral & Cremation Services with Dr. Jason Clark officiating. Burial followed in McMinn Memory Gardens.



Pallbearers were grandsons. Honorary pallbearers were the Beta Sigma Phi Preceptor Chapter and the Athens Luncheon Pilot Club.



The family received friends from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.



The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Pat Summitt Foundation for Alzheimer\'s, 625 Market St., Suite 1400, Knoxville, TN 37902; or First Baptist Church of Athens, 305 Ingleside Ave., Athens, TN 37303.
