Geraldine Holder Hicks, 65, of Reliance, died Saturday, March 16, 2013, at Woods Memorial Hospital.
A native of Polk County, Fla., she was a daughter of the late James Leroy and Lola Mercer Holder. She was preceded in death by her husband, Darel Hicks; and two sisters, Edna Mae and Jewell.
She loved gardening and enjoyed caring for her animals and spending time in her cabin.
Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Tammy and Mike Jenkins of Plant City, Fla., and Theresa Hollister of Tampa, Fla.; one son, Jay Jay Calhoun of Plant City, Fla.; four sisters; three brothers; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
No formal service will be held in this area.
