Sarah Carolyn Patterson Eaves, 61, of Athens, died Sunday, March 17, 2013, at Sweetwater Hospital.
She was born in Lake City, but was a lifelong resident of McMinn County. She was a daughter of the late Carl Robert and Hedda Huckaby Patterson.
Survivors include one daughter, Heather Eaves of Englewood; two sons and daughters-in-law, Klain and Trina West of Niota, and Robert and Dawn Eaves of Englewood; 10 grandchildren; five sisters and brothers-in-law, Rosa Lee and Johnny Dew of Michigan, Sharlotte and Bobby Watson of Sweetwater, Nancy and James Hargarten of Chicago, Ill., Helda and T.J. Wilhoit of Georgia, and Shirley Patterson; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Billy Joe and Loretta Patterson of Athens, and Ronald and Karen Patterson of Englewood.
A memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
There will be no formal visitation.
