DECATUR - After two years of medical leave, former Coach Jason Powell is back in charge of the Meigs County Lady Tigers this year and he is happy to know that Meigs has depth and experience returning for the 2009 basketball season. Interim Coach Monique Mincey has returned to coaching the girls at Meigs Middle School. With a roster of only eight players, last year's Lady Tigers were 13-20 and 8-8 in 5-AA, but reached the second round of the region before falling to Polk County. |
